A Real Cool Hand…

Cool-Hand Suuze, A.K.A. Suzanne Rateliff is 1 of 4 original founding members of the Acala Glass Company.  An Oakland, CA based glass artist who got her start in 1997. In 2002 she went on to explore glass in the scientific world and gained as associate’s degree from Salem Community College in scientific glass blowing. Suuze then spent 10 years working with various forms of laboratory glass. In 2013 Suuze decided to return to Art glass. After a few years teaching classes at Revere glass, Suuze joined forces with Cern Glass to create Acala Studios. Suuze currently works alongside a bevy of talented artist at Acala.
