I am a first generation Latin-American artist who is passionate about inspiring social change and progress through art. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Fine Art from MICA in 2013, and received many prestigious awards and scholarship including awards from The YoungArts Foundation, The Gilman Foundation, and the Marie Walsh Sharpe foundation. I have traveled throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America learning about world cultures, ideologies, foreign affairs, and art history to better myself and my craft. I believe that art exist in a unique space between emotion and logic, between the abstract and the concrete and that in that space it has the potential to deeply connect with individuals, transcend boundaries, and inspire humanity towards greatness. I take on the title of Artist with great respect, constantly challenging myself to make meaningful art that informs, questions, and empowers with integrity and sincerity.
